Project Manager - Building Asset Removal and Reinstatement (3-Year Fixed Term)

Rate: £250-£300 per day (DOE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently supporting one of our clients in their search for a Project Manager on a 3-year fixed term contract to support a wider third party led project. The role will suit someone preferably versed in the removal and reinstatement of building assets, enabling the wider project works to be undertaken safely and to programme.
You will be required to work closely with the third party to agree timings, coordinate subcontractors, and liaise with the technical team to ensure safe isolation, re-energising/reinstatement and commissioning of the affected assets.
Daily responsibilities will include:
* Managing and coordinating the removal, isolation, reinstatement, re-energising and commissioning of building assets to enable third party works
* Working closely with the third party team to align timings, sequencing, dependencies and access requirements
* Coordinating subcontractors and specialist suppliers to ensure labour, materials, permits and access are in place
* Liaising with the technical team to ensure safe isolation/de-energising, re-energising and commissioning activities are completed and signed off
* Monitoring progress, quality and programme, resolving issues to minimise delays and disruption
* Ensuring all works are delivered in line with Health & Safety procedures and working to RAMS
* Maintaining accurate records, reports and project documentation throughout delivery
Requirements for the role:
* Proven experience in a Project Manager role within construction, building services, FM, or a similar environment
* Preferably experienced in removal and reinstatement of building assets in live or operational environments
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including managing third parties and internal technical teams
* Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing programme dependencies
* Good understanding of isolation, reinstatement and commissioning processes (M&E exposure beneficial)
* Strong communication, organisation and reporting skills
