Technical Supervisor - Social Housing
Location: North West London
Salary: £45,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card
Contract: Permanent

We are currently working with a well-established social housing provider to recruit an experienced Technical Supervisor to join their growing property services team in North West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong trade background who is looking to step into a supervisory role overseeing a varied portfolio of works including day-to-day repairs, voids, planned works, and damp & mould remediation.

The Role

As a Technical Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across housing stock. You will oversee operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising reactive repairs, void property refurbishments, and planned maintenance works
• Managing and resolving damp & mould cases in line with current regulations and best practice
• Conducting pre- and post-inspections to ensure quality control
• Supporting operatives with technical guidance and problem-solving on-site
• Monitoring performance and productivity of teams and subcontractors
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
• Liaising with tenants, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

About You

We are looking for someone who has come from a hands-on trade background and progressed into a supervisory or team leader role within social housing or a similar environment.

You will have:

• A recognised trade qualification (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, or general building)
• Proven experience supervising repairs, voids, and/or planned works
• Strong knowledge of damp & mould diagnosis and remediation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
• A full UK driving licence
