Contracts Manager - Logistics

Location: City of London
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

Our client, a leading provider of construction logistics services, is looking to appoint an experienced Logistics Contracts Manager to join its head office team in London.

This position will play a critical role in managing key client contracts, ensuring operational excellence across multiple projects, and supporting the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will act as a key link between clients, operational teams, and senior management to ensure service delivery meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of construction logistics contracts from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor contract performance against agreed KPIs and service level agreements.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for contract growth and business development.
  • Manage commercial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
  • Lead contract reviews and provide regular performance updates to senior management.
  • Support tender submissions, contract negotiations, and client presentations where required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role within construction logistics.
  • Strong commercial understanding and contract management experience.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
