Mid-Level Facilities Manager

Are you a Facilities Manager with a strong technical understanding of building services and experience managing multiple commercial properties?

We're working with an innovative and fast-growing FM business that is looking for a Mid-Level Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of approximately 25 commercial buildings across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience managing a multi-site portfolio and has been involved in onboarding new buildings, including supplier transitions, compliance reviews, asset verification and mobilisation activities.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring the smooth delivery of facilities management services whilst maintaining exceptional client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day FM operations across a portfolio of circa 25 buildings.
• Oversee reactive maintenance, PPMs, compliance and supplier performance.
• Support the onboarding and mobilisation of new properties into the portfolio.
• Review asset registers, compliance documentation and maintenance records.
• Coordinate supplier handovers and service transitions.
• Monitor statutory compliance across HVAC, electrical, fire and water systems.
• Identify technical risks and escalate issues before they become operational failures.
• Manage contractors and hold suppliers accountable for service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with occupiers, landlords and key stakeholders.
• Ensure a high standard of customer experience across the portfolio.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience managing multiple commercial buildings.
• Experience supporting or leading the onboarding/mobilisation of new properties.
• A strong technical understanding of:
  • HVAC systems
  • Electrical services
  • Water compliance
  • Fire and life safety systems
• Experience managing contractors and service partners.
• Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Strong compliance and risk management experience.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
