Gas Engineer

Contract Details

• £28 - £30 per hour CIS
• 6-month contract
• Covering Partington, Oldham, Leigh and Stockport
• Mileage paid at 45p per mile
• Immediate start available

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to work on a social housing contract covering the Greater Manchester area.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out CP12 Gas Safety Certificates within occupied social housing properties
• Conducting gas servicing, safety inspections and compliance checks
• Diagnosing and rectifying minor gas-related faults where required
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with current Gas Safe regulations
• Accurately completing certification and job paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service when working within tenanted properties

Requirements

• Valid Gas Safe Registration
• ACS Gas Qualifications (in date)
• Previous experience working within social housing or domestic properties
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own vehicle required
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
