Health and Safety Business Partner

Based in East London

Permanent - £45-50K per annum

What You'll Do

• Act as the lead Health & Safety contact across designated sites/projects.
• Build relationships with senior and operational teams, providing practical advice and challenge.
• Promote a positive, proactive safety culture across sites.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments, identifying and driving improvements.
• Provide guidance on UK H&S legislation, policies and best practice.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver H&S training, briefings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor safety performance, trends and key risks.
• Support contractor compliance, onboarding and competence checks.
• Liaise with the HSE, Local Authorities and Fire & Rescue Services when required.
• Support ISO 45001 and wider H&S management systems.

Skills & Experience

• NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
• Experience in H&S within property maintenance, construction or FM.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation.
• Confident influencing and challenging stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working across a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Tech IOSH / Grad IOSH / CMIOSH desirable.
• ISO 45001 experience desirable.
