£37,495 Per Annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

Permanent Position | South Manchester, Cheshire, Crewe & Surrounding Areas

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the southern regions of the North West, including South Manchester, Cheshire, Crewe, Northwich and surrounding areas.

This is a permanent opportunity working on day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance within tenanted and void social housing properties, delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of joinery repairs and maintenance
• Completing responsive repairs within occupied and void social housing properties
• Patch plastering and making good works
• Basic painting and decorating
• Flooring repairs and installations
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Gaining access works, including lock changes and door repairs
• UPVC door and window repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Providing excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes

Requirements

• Proven experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance
• Strong multi-skilled background with the ability to undertake additional trade tasks
• Experience in joinery, patch plastering, painting, flooring, basic plumbing, gaining access and UPVC repairs
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
