Multi-Skilled Operative

£34,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

We are currently recruiting for experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join a well-established contractor delivering reactive repairs and maintenance works across social housing properties in Dudley and the surrounding areas.

Key Requirements

• Skilled in Carpentry, Plumbing or Plastering as a primary trade.
• Previous experience within social housing, reactive repairs, or maintenance environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to carry out a range of multi-trade maintenance and repair tasks.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Time-served tradesperson.
• NVQ qualification in a relevant trade and/or CSCS Card would be advantageous but are not essential.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied social housing properties.
• Completing repairs to a high standard across a variety of trades.
• Diagnosing faults and identifying the most effective repair solutions.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
• Providing excellent customer service when working within tenants' homes.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed works.
