Project Manager - Strip Out
Location: City of London
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
Our client is a well-established and growing specialist contractor operating within the construction logistics, enabling works, and project delivery sector. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work across London, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in strip out and enabling works projects.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver a diverse range of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects across the capital, working closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of strip out and enabling works projects from inception through to completion.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Build and manage relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate site teams, ensuring effective communication and project execution.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure all contractual and commercial obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering strip out, soft strip, demolition preparation, or enabling works projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, planning, and project controls.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and subcontractor packages.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Relevant construction qualifications and certifications are desirable.
