Temporary Site Manager

Location: Boston and surrounding areas
Contract: Temporary, initially 4-8 weeks

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Site Manager to provide holiday cover across planned works and social housing refurbishment projects in the Boston area.

You will be responsible for the safe, effective and timely delivery of works, managing both directly employed and subcontracted trades while maintaining high standards of health and safety, site presentation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational management of sites
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, effectively and on schedule
  • Manage and support directly employed and subcontracted trades
  • Ensure all site personnel and visitors are appropriately inducted
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety records
  • Ensure environmental and waste management policies are followed
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure works meet the required specification
  • Organise regular site meetings and plan resources effectively
  • Maintain high standards of site presentation
  • Report directly to the Project Manager

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects
  • Planned works refurbishment experience
  • Knowledge of kitchens and bathrooms, roofline works and re-roofing
  • Experience managing direct and subcontracted trades
  • NVQ Level 4, HNC or equivalent experience
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS card
  • Scaffold Inspection
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and team management skills

Experience working within the social housing sector and in occupied or void properties would be advantageous.
