Soft Services Area Manager - North West

Location: North West - Mobile
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Rate: £16.85 per hour PAYE + Mileage
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Hybrid: 1 day WFH per week

Our client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is looking for an experienced Soft Services Area Manager to oversee approximately 10 contracts across the North West.

The portfolio consists of industrial, manufacturing and office environments, with responsibility for overseeing cleaning and security services.

This is a varied, client-facing role offering plenty of autonomy. You will be trusted to manage your own diary, organise site visits and prioritise your workload, provided contractual KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.

The Role

• Oversee cleaning and security services across approximately 10 contracts
• Manage and support site-based teams across the portfolio
• Act as a key point of contact for clients
• Monitor performance against contractual KPIs
• Carry out regular site visits, audits and service reviews
• Manage staffing, performance and day-to-day operational issues
• Ensure Health & Safety and compliance standards are maintained
• Produce reports and maintain accurate records
• Build strong relationships with clients and site teams
• Manage your own diary and workload across the portfolio

Requirements

• Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential
• IOSH qualification is essential
• Experience managing soft services, particularly cleaning and security
• Previous multi-site or contract management experience
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
• Good IT and reporting skills
• Confident working independently and managing competing priorities
• Full UK driving licence

The position offers £16.85 per hour PAYE plus mileage, with alternative payment options available.
