Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour

We have an opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Void Labourer to join a social housing contractor in Oxford. In this role, you will support void property refurbishment and maintenance works, helping to ensure homes are safe, well-maintained, and ready for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general labouring duties within empty social housing properties.
• Preparing properties for re-letting by clearing rubbish, debris, and unwanted items.
• Removing and disposing of old fixtures, fittings, flooring, and materials.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting tools, equipment, and materials safely.
• Carrying out basic repairs and making-good works where required.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
• Ensuring properties are being left clean, safe, and ready for re-letting.
• Following health and safety procedures and using PPE correctly.
• Reporting damage, defects, hazards, and additional works to the supervisor.
• Working to agreed schedules and property turnaround targets.
• Completing tasks to a high standard and in line with contractor requirements.
• Liaising professionally with supervisors, tradespeople, and other team members.
• Ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are being used and stored safely.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Asbestos Awareness, UKATA or IATP
• Basic DBS Check
