Wall tie operative

Our client is looking for an experienced Wall Tie Operative in spennymoor
The contract is ongoing work

Responsibilities Include:

• • Conducting thorough inspections of existing wall ties to identify potential issues, failure, or deterioration.
  • Establishing different types or bricks or blocks used in the properties and whether or not wall ties are present.
  • Executing the proper installation of wall ties according to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensuring that all installed wall ties meet quality standards and comply with building codes and regulations.
  • Developing knowledge around different types of wall ties and their purpose.
  • Work with various materials, such as steel or composite wall ties, to secure and strengthen the connection between inner and outer walls.
  • Using the correct tools to identify the positions of existing cavity wall ties.
  • Measuring and planning the placement of new wall ties against and present wall ties.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations of the site you are working on.
  • Working around people in their homes.

Requirements for the Role:

• Valid CSCS
• Own PPE - high vis vest, hard hat and steel capped boots
