About the Role:
A leading social housing provider is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their team in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the management and maintenance of residential properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality for tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out building surveys, inspections, and condition assessments across residential properties.
Provide professional advice on repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works.
Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates.
Monitor construction and maintenance projects to ensure compliance with building regulations and company standards.
Liaise with contractors, tenants, and internal teams to coordinate works efficiently.
Contribute to long-term asset management strategies and risk management initiatives.
Requirements:
Chartered or part-qualified Building Surveyor (RICS preferred).
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within social housing or residential property management.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety, and construction processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
