Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a proven track record in the social housing sector and strong knowledge of frameworks and procurement routes. The successful candidate will drive growth by securing new contracts, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the business on key frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the social housing sector.
Lead on framework applications, bids, and tenders, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with housing associations, local authorities, and framework providers.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored service offerings and proposals.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming framework opportunities.
Deliver against agreed sales targets and growth objectives.
Candidate Requirements
Demonstrable BDM experience in social housing (essential).
Strong understanding of framework procurement processes (e.g., DPS, tender portals, housing frameworks).
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
Commercial acumen with ability to negotiate and close deals.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Based in or familiar with the North West region.
