We are currently recruiting for an experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to join a reputable social housing contractor delivering remedial and planned works across North London. This is a temporary contract with an immediate or short-notice start available.

The Role
As a Damp & Mould Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing inspection, remedial, and preventative works within occupied social housing properties, ensuring cases are managed effectively, works are completed to a high standard, and resident concerns are addressed professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise damp, mould, and condensation works across social housing stock

• Manage operatives and subcontractors carrying out surveys, remedial works, and follow-on repairs

• Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring

• Ensure works comply with health & safety legislation, housing standards, and internal procedures

• Act as a key point of contact for residents, housing officers, and client representatives

• Ensure timely resolution of damp and mould cases, including root cause identification

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and updates on works completed and outstanding

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising damp and mould works within social housing

• Strong understanding of damp, condensation, ventilation, and mould remediation

• Experience working in occupied properties and managing resident liaison

• SMSTS or SSSTS (essential)

• Asbestos Awareness (essential)

• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Full UK driving licence
