Location: South East London
We are seeking a skilled and motivated FRA Engineer to join our Reactive Maintenance Team. This is a full-time permanent role covering London and surrounding counties, with core working hours of Monday to Friday,
You will work across a variety of domestic and commercial properties primarily within social housing and local authority sectors, carrying out surveys, installations, commissioning and remedial works identified from Fire Risk Assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, modify, and commission Grade D domestic fire detection systems.
- Install and commission emergency lighting systems.
- Complete remedial works based on Fire Risk Assessment findings.
- Complete commissioning certificates accurately and in accordance with standards.
- Cover reactive works where necessary
- Document all work clearly and promptly using the Oneserve mobile application.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of the electrical industry, including building regulations
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Ability to install and commission Grade D fire detection and emergency lighting systems
- Experience working from mobile devices to complete electronic job sheets
- Good practical and diagnostic skills
- Strong organisation and planning abilities
- Clear communication with customers and colleagues
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong timekeeping
- A supportive, team-first mindset
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18)
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent - Desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
