Groundworks Gang - Deep Drainage (New Build Housing)

Job Type: Temporary - 20 weeks

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Gang for ongoing works on a new build housing development. The gang must have strong experience in deep drainage and sewer installation, working to programme and maintaining high safety standards.

This is long-term work for the right team.

Scope of Works

• Deep drainage installation (2.5m - 5m depths)

• Road and plot drainage

• Installation of:

  • 1200mm Concrete Pipe

  • 155mm Clay Pipe

  • 225mm Clay Pipe

• Working to drawings and levels

• Trench support and safe excavation practices

• Manhole covers

Gang Requirements

The gang must consist of:

• Ganger - SSSTS (essential)

• 360 Excavator Operator - CPCS or NPORS

• Groundworker - Medium Risk Confined Space (essential)

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in deep drainage (2.5m-5m)

• Valid CSCS / CPCS / NPORS cards

• Experience laying concrete and clay pipework

• Strong understanding of health & safety

• Own PPE

• Reliable and able to work to programme
