Building Services Engineer - Plumber

Location: Rochdale
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-7:00pm)
Salary: £35,000 + Van & benefits

What you'll do

• Provide high-quality plumbing maintenance across commercial buildings

• Deliver both reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Repair leaks, blockages, pipework, valves, taps, and sanitary fittings

• Maintain water systems, drainage, external areas, and plant rooms

• Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in an on-call rota

• Ensure compliance with health & safety, water hygiene, and statutory regulations

• Accurately log all tasks, time, and materials using the client's CAFM system

• Support minor installations, refurbishments, and upgrade works

• Liaise with contractors and issue permits to work when required

What you'll need

• City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)

• Proven experience within a commercial or FM environment

• Good knowledge of water regulations and Legionella controls

• Strong communication skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to obtain DBS clearance
