Job Title: Plumber (Social Housing - Repairs & Gas Works)

Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £36,500 - £37,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to work on a social housing contract, delivering high-quality day-to-day repairs and maintenance. The role will primarily involve general plumbing works (approximately 80%), with a smaller proportion of gas-related tasks (approximately 20%), carried out in occupied residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance in social housing properties

• Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently and safely

• Undertake basic gas works including cap-offs and drop-downs (where appropriately qualified)

• Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and safety standards

• Provide a professional, customer-focused service to tenants

• Accurately complete job records and compliance paperwork

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)

• Domestic Gas qualification and Gas Safe registration

• Proven experience in domestic plumbing repairs

• Experience working within social housing or occupied properties (desirable)
