Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (office-based with site travel)
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 base + £4,000 MEA + up to 10% annual bonus

We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our clients commercial team, supporting the delivery of Planned Works programmes across residential and social housing.

This role would suit a QS or Project Surveyor with strong elemental works experience within housing, including roofing, kitchen and bathroom replacements, and refurbishment projects valued between £1m-£15m.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with Operations as part of a team of around 10, managing commercial performance, supply chain relationships, and accurate cost and value reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage budgets and secure full commercial entitlement

• Deliver cost control, CVRs, CVCs and management reporting

• Apply and manage Schedule of Rates (NHF SORs preferred)

• Monthly valuations, invoicing and cash flow management

• Manage supply chain and support junior team members

• Identify and escalate commercial risks and disputes

Essential Requirements

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience

• Experience in planned or elemental housing works

• Strong Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, formulas)

• Good contract and commercial knowledge

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Social housing experience

• NHF Schedule of Rates knowledge
