Job Description
The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations across multiple Hickory's Restaurant locations. This role is split between hands-on cleaning duties and supervisory responsibilities, requiring 20 hours of cleaning and 20 hours of supervision and travel each week. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card to facilitate travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning Duties: Perform cleaning tasks in the Birmingham Hickory's Restaurant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Supervision: Oversee and coordinate cleaning activities at various Hickory's Restaurant locations, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Team Leadership: Train, support, and motivate the cleaning staff, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning practices.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of cleaning work to ensure it meets the required standards, providing feedback and addressing any issues.
- Travel: Travel to different Hickory's Restaurant locations as required to supervise and support the cleaning staff.
- Inventory Management: Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning supervisory role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to different locations and adapt to varying schedules.
- Valid driver's license (required for use of company van).
