Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Decorating Supervisor to join our clients dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced painter and decorator looking to take the next step in their career.

As a Decorating Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing decorating projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will manage a team of decorators, coordinate with clients, and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of decorators on various projects
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with client specifications
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
  • Manage inventory and ordering of materials
  • Provide training and support to team members

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as a painter and decorator
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
