Quantity Surveyor

A new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a large property consultancy based out of their Birmingham office. This is very much a traditional PQS role requiring both pre and post contract Quantity Surveying experience. Our client currently has two large industrial schemes going through planning permission that they are looking for a Project QS to take a lead on. Beyond this, they also have a varied workload, which does also include some fund monitoring work.

We're therefore looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team which includes both cost consultancy, project management and building consultancy. Any previous experience on delivering projects on the industrial sector would be highly desirable but we are able to consider Quantity Surveyors from any building sector background.

Our client works out of top end offices in Birmingham city centre, but also offers a high degree of flexibility so whilst travel to site would be required, the successful candidate would be able to mix this with some home working. That said, the team in Birmingham really is a great one to be part off and previous placements have had excellent feedback to offer.
