Adaptations Surveyor - Social Housing

As an Adaptations Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering property adaptations that meet the needs of our tenants-primarily older adults and individuals with disabilities. You will assess, design, and manage adaptation works to ensure properties are safe, accessible, and tailored to residents' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake property surveys to assess the feasibility of adaptations, including ramps, level access showers, stairlifts, and kitchen modifications

• Prepare specifications, drawings, and cost estimates for adaptation works.

• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), and the Equality Act.

• Oversee the delivery of works on-site, ensuring quality, budget, and deadlines are met.

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance monitoring data.

About You

You'll bring both technical surveying expertise and a strong understanding of the unique needs of residents in social housing.

Essential

• Experience delivering or managing adaptation works in residential properties.

• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in accessible housing design.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

• A valid UK driving licence
