Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Southampton, SO14

A Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required for a fit-out project, based in Southampton. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a building and construction project.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - fit out responsibilities:

• Assist in cost estimations
• Be able to handle budget management
• Ensure the project stays on track within budget
• Prepare regular financial reports
• Managing relationships with subcontractors
• Communicating with clients and other stakeholders
• Identify and access potential risks
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, budgets and contracts

Requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends in project costs
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and other team members
• Identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues
• Have good knowledge of Construction principles, Quantity Surveying techniques
• Have the ability to work relevant software - Technical skills
• Must be organised
• Have good attention to detail
• Previously worked on Fit Out projects
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
