Are you looking to progress your Quantity Surveying career with a company that genuinely makes a difference? We're working with a well-established social housing contractor in Peterborough that's growing their commercial team and looking to bring on board an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business heavily involved in decarbonisation and retrofit projects, as well as planned maintenance works across social housing stock. You'll play a key supporting role in the commercial management of a wide range of sustainable refurbishment schemes-think energy efficiency upgrades, external wall insulation, solar PV, and boiler replacements.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting in the commercial management of retrofit and planned works projects
• Supporting with subcontractor procurement, valuations, and variations
• Cost control, forecasting, and reporting alongside the Senior QS
• Liaising with project teams, clients, and supply chain to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensuring compliance with commercial processes and frameworks

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working on social housing or similar refurbishment projects
• A good understanding of quantity surveying principles and commercial processes
• Exposure to decarb or retrofit works is ideal (but not essential)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards
