Business Data Analyst - Repairs (Social Housing)

Salary: £47,000 per annum

We're hiring a Business Data Analyst to support repairs and maintenance performance in a social housing environment. You'll analyse operational and financial data (repairs, voids, SOR usage), build clear reports/dashboards, and provide insights that improve service, cost control, and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
Analyse large data sets covering responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance.
Track KPIs, budgets and Schedule of Rates (SOR) usage; highlight variances and trends.
Build and maintain reports/dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI/Tableau) for managers and stakeholders.
Provide insight for contractor performance reviews and contract governance.
Support budgeting and forecasting with spend analysis and projections.
Ensure data quality across housing/contractor systems; reconcile and cleanse data as needed.
Prepare regular management packs and ad-hoc analysis with clear, actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with repairs operations, finance and asset teams to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Experience as a Business/Data Analyst in social housing, property maintenance or facilities management.
Strong understanding of repairs operations, work orders, SOR codes and cost drivers.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI or Tableau).
Confident working with housing/contractor systems (e.g., Northgate, DRS, Dynamics or similar).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and data-cleansing skills with high attention to detail.
Clear communicator able to present complex findings to non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of KPI frameworks, performance reporting and budget monitoring.
Degree or relevant qualification in data, business or a related field preferred.
