Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Duration: Minimum 3 months (potential for extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter with additional skills in minor plumbing works to join our maintenance team operating across Birmingham. This role involves carrying out a range of domestic and social housing repairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake all aspects of carpentry including door hanging, skirting, architraves, and general maintenance repairs.

• Carry out minor plumbing tasks such as replacing taps, repairing leaks, and similar small-scale works.

• Work independently and efficiently while maintaining a professional approach in occupied and void properties.

• Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies at all times.

• Complete all relevant documentation and reports accurately.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 5 points.

• NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Carpentry or valid CSCS card.

• Demonstrable experience in both carpentry and minor plumbing works.

• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.

• Previous experience within domestic or social housing environments is advantageous.
