We're working with a well-established local contractor that specialises in social housing maintenance, who are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join their team. This is a great long-term opportunity to deliver high-quality repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance across domestic properties within the West London area.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs within occupied residential properties.

  • Completing a range of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks to a high standard.
  • Hanging internal and external doors, including fitting door furniture and ironmongery.
  • Installing and repairing skirting boards, architraves, and other finishing joinery.
  • Repairing or replacing windows and doors, including adjustments and general maintenance.
  • Carrying out lock changes and security-related carpentry works.
  • Repairing or installing kitchen units, worktops, and UPVC components.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with required specifications.
  • Maintaining excellent customer care, communicating politely and professionally with residents at all times.
  • Using handheld devices or paperwork to record job details, updates, and completed works.
  • Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
