£25,000 per annum with van and fuel card.

Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Cleaning/Clearance Operative for a housing association based in Portsmouth, supporting the upkeep and maintenance of housing association properties across Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general cleaning of communal areas, void properties, and external spaces

• Perform clearance tasks, including removing household items and waste from vacated properties

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate teams

• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or property clearance

• Full UK driving licence

• Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

• Ability to follow instructions and health and safety procedures
