The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Disrepair Supervisor to join a well-established social housing provider in North West London. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability, progression opportunities, and the chance to play a key part in ensuring residents' homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing disrepair works, managing operatives and contractors, and ensuring all cases are resolved efficiently and in line with housing legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise operatives and subcontractors delivering disrepair works across social housing properties.

• Oversee cases relating to damp, mould, leaks, structural issues, and housing disrepair claims.

• Carry out inspections, quality checks, and post-works reviews to ensure compliance and resident satisfaction.

• Work closely with contract managers, surveyors, and legal teams on disrepair cases.

• Monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and health & safety requirements.

• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

• Act as the main point of contact for residents, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supervisor within social housing repairs or disrepair works - essential.

• Strong knowledge of damp & mould, housing disrepair, and property condition.

• Experience managing teams of operatives and/or subcontractors.

• Familiarity with housing legislation, landlord & tenant law, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

• Strong communication skills with a resident-focused approach.

• Full UK driving licence preferred.
