Job Title: FRA Surveyor - Social Housing
Location: North London
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently working with a well-established social housing provider in North London that is looking to appoint an experienced FRA Surveyor on a permanent basis, offering a salary of £50,000. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fire safety professional seeking long-term career progression and stability within a compliance-driven organisation that prioritises resident safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments across a varied portfolio of residential housing stock.

• Produce detailed, compliant reports with clear recommendations in line with current fire safety legislation and sector standards.

• Work collaboratively with internal compliance teams, housing officers, and external contractors to ensure all remedial actions are tracked and completed.

• Maintain accurate records of assessments and actions to meet regulatory and internal audit requirements.

• Keep up to date with changes in fire safety legislation, guidance, and best practices affecting the housing sector.

Requirements:

• Proven experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments, ideally within a social housing environment.

• Recognised fire safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, IFE, IFSM, or equivalent).

• Sound understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Safety Act, and related regulations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in technical report writing.

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across North London.
