Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 17:00
Pay: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour

We are currently looking for an experienced Ground worker to join a respected property maintenance contractor on a temporary basis, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance works to social housing properties in and around Basildon.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare work areas, clear debris, and set out ground levels according to plans.

• Assist in marking out boundaries, utilities, and work zones.

• Excavate, pour, and compact foundations, footings, and base layers.

• Construct drainage systems, manholes, soakaways, and service trenches.

• Lay kerbs, edgings, paving slabs, block paving, and prepare areas for tarmac.

• Install fences, boundary walls, access paths, driveways, and garden landscaping.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Ability to pass a Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
