We have an opportunity for a Groundworker Multi Trade Operative to join a responsive maintenance contract with a social housing provider based in East London. The primary focus of this role is to undertake tasks aimed at achieving first time fixes while delivering high-quality workmanship in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring excellent customer service for the client at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Perform external maintenance and groundwork, including landscaping, pathways, driveways, car parks, and hard landscaping tasks such as laying/removing paths and kerbs
• Inspect, maintain, unblock, repair, or replace drainage systems, performing full drainage surveys and excavation work as necessary.
• Deliver basic multi‑trade repairs, including patch plastering, basic joinery, plumbing, tiling, decorating, and minor carpentry.
• Maintain and update records using computer systems or PDAs; complete detailed job sheets and reports following each task.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Basic Criminal Record Check
