Job Opportunity: Joinery Working Foreman (3-4 Months Contract)

Location: Morpeth, NE65
Start Date: Pending site clearance (approx. 6 weeks)
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (35 hours/week paid)
Payment: CIS

About the Role

We are seeking a Working Joinery Foreman to oversee and carry out high-quality joinery installations on a site in Morpeth. This is an initial 3-4 month contract with the potential to transition into long-term (1+ year) employment with a well-established, professional joinery company that has strong industry connections and a reputation for quality bespoke work.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and carry out joinery and bespoke fitting works on site

• Coordinate with site teams to ensure high standards and project delivery

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Maintain H&S and site compliance standards

Requirements

• SMSTS Certification (essential)

• Strong joinery/fitter background (hands-on experience required)

• Experience with bespoke joinery items

• Basic DBS (required for site clearance - takes ~6 weeks to process)

• Own tools and PPE

• Ability to manage site tasks and work alongside tradespeople

• Must have suitable interim work while awaiting site clearance
