Temporary Laundry Assistant - Sheffield (S4)

Hours: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Sheffield, S4

We are looking for a Temporary Laundry Assistant to join our team in Sheffield for a 2-week assignment starting Monday 3rd November.

Please note: You must hold a clean Enhanced DBS certificate. Unfortunately, we cannot process your application without this.

Key Duties Include:

• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry items

• Operating commercial washing and drying machines safely and efficiently

• Inspecting laundry for stains, damage, or repairs needed

• Ensuring correct labelling and handling of all laundry items

• Keeping the laundry area clean, tidy, and well-organised

• Following all hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Assisting with ad hoc cleaning duties when required

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (clean) - essential

• Previous experience in laundry or cleaning preferred but not required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

This is a temporary 2-week position, perfect for someone seeking short-term work.
