Job Details

• Location: Coventry (on-site at student accommodation building)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 1-2 weeks (with potential for extension)

• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime

• Team Size: Up to 4 painters

Role & Responsibilities:

• Preparing surfaces by filling, sanding, and priming walls, ceilings, and woodwork

• Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, window frames, and skirting boards

• Ensuring clean, even, and high-quality finishes to meet project specifications and deadlines

• Working safely and efficiently within a busy construction site environment

• Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades to maintain work flow

• Maintaining a tidy work space and adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card - must be presented on site

• Proven painting and decorating experience, ideally in commercial or large residential projects

• Good knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques

• Own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working at height (using ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
