Painter Required - Social Housing

Contract Type: Temporary - March 2026
Salary: £20phr
Start Date: Immediate

We're looking for a reliable and skilled Painter/Decorator to join our team working on a social housing maintenance contract. You'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality painting and decorating works in occupied (tenanted) properties, ensuring tenants receive a professional, respectful, and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out internal painting and decorating works in tenanted homes including ceilings & walls.

• Damp & Mould Washes throughout

• Prepare surfaces, including filling, sanding, and priming as required.

• Work efficiently while maintaining clean and safe working areas.

• Communicate politely and effectively with tenants and colleagues.

• Follow company health & safety procedures at all times.

• Complete daily job records and report any additional works required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator, ideally within social housing or property maintenance.

• Full UK driving licence (company van and fuel card provided).

• CSCS card

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Painting & Decorating
