About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our team, working on a long-term social housing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering works to tenanted and void properties across Trafford.

You'll play a key role in improving the condition and comfort of homes for residents, ensuring all work is carried out to a professional standard and in line with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out internal and external plastering works, including skimming, bonding, and patch repairs.

• Complete damp proofing treatments, including preparation, installation, and aftercare.

• Diagnose and repair issues related to rising damp, condensation, and penetrating damp.

• Work effectively in occupied homes, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.

• Liaise with tenants, supervisors, and other trades as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

• Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plasterer, ideally within social housing or similar environments.

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plastering or relevant trade qualification.

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Company van provided).

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Own tools preferred (PPE and specialist equipment will be provided)
