The Opportunity
We are urgently seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor with a strong background in social housing (Local Authorities/councils) to join a local authority in Camden. This is a fantastic chance to step into a respected council position, take responsibility for a team of operatives, and oversee the delivery of responsive housing repairs across a varied property portfolio.

What you'll be doing
Supervising a team of operatives delivering day-to-day repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
Allocating workloads, managing schedules, and ensuring works are completed on time and to specification
Carrying out site inspections and post-works checks to maintain quality, safety, and compliance
Acting as the main point of contact for residents, ensuring a high level of customer care in line with social housing standards
Monitoring KPIs, productivity, and ensuring works meet local authority service levels
Liaising with contractors, council staff, and other stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor within the social housing sector - essential
Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance in council or housing association stock
Experience managing teams of operatives or subcontractors in a housing environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a resident-focused approach
Sound understanding of health & safety in housing and construction
A full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided)
