Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5pm

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Welfare Cleaner to join our team at a site located in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in welfare facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all site staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitise welfare facilities including toilets, changing rooms, kitchen/canteen areas, and offices

• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, hand towels, and sanitiser

• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and correctly

• Follow cleaning schedules and complete cleaning checklists

• Ensure all areas are cleaned to health and safety standards

• Report any maintenance or health & safety issues to the site manager

• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with COSHH regulations

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential

• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Awareness of health and safety and hygiene standards

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

• CSCS Card required

Desirable:

• Knowledge of COSHH regulations

• Basic spoken English skills
